Clean Boilers Program for Weatherization

Current Clean Boiler Contractor List

OVERVIEW

Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) requires that all heating contractors who want to bid on any major heating system upgrade or replacement work in multifamily building within downstate region must comply with Clean Boilers requirements as defined in the WAP Program and Policy Manual (PPM).

One of the requirements is to attend the clean boilers orientation session every year, fill out contractors’ qualifications form and submit to AEA. The eligibility is for ONE year (October to September) only. This means the contractors who are on the current list MUST also attend the orientation session to continue to stay on next year’s list.

The contractors who are on current year’s list are referred as “existing contractor” and any contractor who are not on current year’s list but want to become eligible contractor are referred as “new contractor”. “New contractor” group also include the contractors who were on the list in past but not on the most current list and who wants to join the program once again.
