AEA's staff performs comprehensive energy audits to help you assess your home's energy consumption and evaluate measures to improve your energy efficiency.
AEA's Energy Management Group offers energy analysis and performance monitoring services to building owners and managers as a Partner in the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority's (NYSERDA) Multifamily Performance Program.
AEA acts as an implementer of the EmPower program administered by NYSERDA. Services for low-income tenants or income-eligible homeowners through the EmPower program include: replacement of old, inefficient refrigerators with super-efficient, Energy Star refrigerators, installation of high-efficiency compact fluorescent bulbs and hard-wired lighting fixtures, and energy savings tips.
AEA's Green New Construction Group (GNCG) provides assistance to affordable housing developers to incorporate energy-efficiency measures into the design, construction, and operation of new and substantially renovated buildings.
AEA conducts research, development and demonstration projects, primarily with funding support from the New York State Energy Research & Development Authority (NYSERDA) and the NYS Division of Housing & Community Renewal.
