DOE Standard Work Specifications for Multifamily Energy Upgrades Review and Comment Period is Now Closed.
Public review of the Standard Work Specifications for Multifamily Energy Upgrades closed on May 4, 2012. All comments will be reviewed and integrated where appropriate. Final review of this document is scheduled to open in fall 2012. Developed under DOE's Guidelines for Home Energy Professionals project, the specifications are voluntary guidelines that outline minimum requirements for high-quality energy upgrades in multifamily homes.

Under subcontract to Advanced Energy, AEA is the Market Lead for the Multifamily Standard Work Specifications development process, working in conjunction with NREL and DOE on this project.

In October 2011, AEA hosted National Weatherization Day events featuring:
- An address by Daniel Buyer, Assistant Commissioner for NYS Homes & Community Renewal
- A Green Roof Ribbon Cutting Conducted by Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz
- Video documentaries highlighting production and job creation outcomes of New York's stimulus-funded Weatherization Assistance Program as well as the construction of AEA's Green Roof.
